Crossing a remote desert track, an off-roader’s vehicle broke down miles from the nearest road. With temperatures soaring past 40°C (104°F) and no water left, the situation turned critical. Using his emergency beacon, he was located by a rescue helicopter and flown to safety before dehydration could take hold.
