Commitment to Your Privacy

This website is owned by  L&L Marine Solutions Ltd. We value your privacy and aim to make your online experience safe and enjoyable. Some features mentioned here may not be available yet.

We collect certain types of information from users. This statement explains what information we gather and how we use it, so you understand the terms and conditions of its collection.

L&L Marine Solutions collects two types of information about users.

  • Voluntary Submissions: Information you provide voluntarily, such as subscribing to newsletters, submitting stories, or participating in polls and surveys.

  • Tracking Information: Aggregated data from page views and site usage. Individual users are never identified or shared with third parties.

How We Collect User Information:

  • Optional Voluntary Information

Some free services may require you to voluntarily provide personal information. These submissions are optional and help us offer newsletters, polls, and surveys.

  • Newsletters (Dispatches): Users can subscribe to free newsletters. Email addresses are collected only from voluntary subscriptions. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in the newsletter.

  • Polling: Users can participate in polls to share opinions. Responses are anonymous and aggregated. Users may be tagged to vote only once, without linking to personal information.

  • Surveys: Occasionally,  L&L Marine Solutions conducts surveys to improve content. Aggregated demographic data may be shared with partners, but no individual information is ever shared with third parties.

Usage Tracking

L&L Marine Solutions tracks overall traffic on our sites but does not link it to individual users. We collect data like domain name, browser type, and MIME type from the browser string to analyze site usage patterns.

L&L Marine Solutions may track search terms entered on our site, but this is never linked to individual users. Tracking shows which pages and areas are popular and which are not. We do not monitor individual reading habits—only overall page performance. This helps us improve the website and provide a better user experience.

Cookies

L&L Marine Solutions may place small text files called cookies in your browser. Cookies do not contain personal information unless you provide it yourself. They cannot read your hard disk or other sites’ cookies. Cookies help track traffic patterns and improve site performance. Advertising cookies are used once to track ad impressions and clicks.

You can turn off cookies in your browser. Warnings may appear if your browser is set to notify you. Cookies are not required to use the site, but are needed for forums, polls, surveys, and interactive features.

information use details

L&L Marine Solutions uses information you provide voluntarily to improve your experience, offer personalized features, and create content based on user interests.

We use voluntarily provided information to send newsletters and support participation in polls, surveys, forums, and message boards. Newsletters are sent regularly or as special editions. Mailing lists are never shared with third parties, advertisers, or partners.

We use tracking data to see which areas and pages of our site are popular. Individual reading habits are not tracked. Search terms are monitored only in aggregate to understand user interests, without identifying any specific user. This helps us improve the site and provide a better experience.

L&L Marine Solutions may create aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for partners. Individual user information is never shared, except to comply with law or to protect user or public safety.

Sharing of Information

L&L Marine Solutions uses collected information to improve content and help partners understand audience trends. Individual user information is never shared with third parties, except to comply with the law or protect user or public safety.

Survivor Club Information

L&L Marine Solutions owns all returned beacons and may use, display, photograph, or gift them at its discretion, including for marketing purposes.

Information collected for the Program is used to administer it and inform participants about products, services, promotions, and offers. By accepting a replacement beacon, participants allow  L&L Marine Solutions and its affiliates to use their first name, city, likeness, stories, photos, and videos for advertising, unless prohibited by law.

Last names and contact details are never shared publicly without consent. Participants may also be invited to publicity events, but attendance is optional.
