Emergency Location Aid
A SART is designed to help rescue teams locate your vessel quickly in the event of distress, especially if your vessel has sunk or is otherwise disabled.
Works with Radar Systems
When activated, the SART responds to X-band marine radar signals from ships or aircraft.
It produces a series of dots or blips on the rescuer’s radar display, making your position visible even in poor visibility or at night.
Increases Survival Chances
Rapid detection by nearby vessels or rescue aircraft reduces search time, improving survival chances for crew or passengers in the water.
Regulatory Compliance
Many commercial vessels and passenger ships are required by SOLAS regulations to carry a SART.
Even for recreational vessels, carrying one is highly recommended if you venture offshore or into remote waters.
Simple to Use
Small, portable, and battery-powered.
Activated only in an emergency, it starts transmitting immediately to assist in location.
